Debris Field

The mapping of the debris field (a.k.a. Kuiper Belt) of our own solar system should provide a pattern than can be used by imaging algorithms to automatically scan the heavens for other debris fields. Similarities would then adaptively assign a higher research priority to the debris fields that are aligned to our own. Perhaps this would be a better use of distributed computing resources than the SETI screen-savers.
